Thanks to Shawn Eiferman for sharing his story ..... I just realized recently that apple doesn't fall far from the tree! i bought this apx in the early 90's here in vegas and have played 300+ shows a year since with this and a breedlove, 8 taylors, a 48' gibson, etc. in a collection of 31 guitars in my home and still play 4 nights a week in vegas and i recently noticed that this ol' timer that is held together with popsicle sticks and super glue sounds, plays, and looks as good if not better than most of my other guitars!!! my daughter is 17 and gives lessons and recently wanted a good, reliable, affordable acoustic/electric. she played all of my guitars and asked me to get her one just like my yamaha! :-) there are now 2 in the family and i just wanted to share the story and my love for this instrument.
