1987 YAMAHA SE 1203A , SE 1212A
Yamaha SE1212A was the top of the line of Yamaha's Session Series, which was the predecessor to the Pacifica line of guitars. The SE1212A is a neck-thru-body design with a laminated maple neck/body center section mated to Alder; this type of construction is far more stable than a bolt-on and gives the guitar greater sustain. The multi-laminated neck features an Ebony fingerboard with 22 jumbo stainless frets. It has the Rocking Magic Pro (RM Pro) bridge, which is the most robust and reinforced bridges in the Yamaha history. It also has a set of 3 active pickups (humbucker/single/single) with a coil-tap switch for the bridge humbucker, so you can choose between higher output humbucking tone or traditional, vintage single coil tone.
