Replace the 9volt battery in the back, then check the input jack also.

Marcos Rocha the difference between a 612A and a 1212A is a 612A has a bolt on neck and rosewood fretboard, and a 1212A has a one piece neck thru body design with a Ebony fretboard, everything else is identical, same Active electronics, same trem and features.

Serial # on back of headstock, finding an RM PRO is extremely hard, I would not buy a guitar where the original mounts may have been changed, sketchy ! , I’m guessing that he put the Floyd in because the RM PRO was wrecked and he could not find replacement. I would use caution and ask many questions. Be careful.

Ron Brown I’m looking for the tap and I can’t find it . I am searching, I don’t remember the size, I brought the screw to the hardware store with me and purchased the closest thing I could buy, better yet bring the trem.

I re-thread mine to an Allen head screw that is slightly larger, some Yami rm Pro trems I had to do them all. I purchased everything I needed at the local hardware store

I thought of making a (how to) video on these.

Now that I can see it, Looks like the serial was hand punched over the original one because it was fading, I can almost make out where it would have said made in Taiwan that faded away and they hand punched the USA over it. That’s just my opinion and I may be wrong but I’ve seen hundreds of back of Yamaha headstocks and am comparing to what I know. I could be wrong.

They are Awesome, I rescued one out of a barn, paid 60 USD . It was in a hard cast without a liner, the case was rotten so I disposed of it. I cleaned the dirt off it, put new strings on it and was blown away. Of course some are better than others. But I am happy with mine. It’s a FG 200.

This is a photo of the Original Yamaha RGX Custom. I don't have the measurements though this is so you see they did make a fitted case that said YAMAHA on the outside in big letters, same case they made for the RGX 1212's only that was slightly shorter

There is a real nice Floyd Rose gohtoh trem that I think fits this but I am not sure. I will post this to main wall also so keep an eye out there as well.
